🌱 Starting today, we forever dedicate ALL Pup Cups served at any Beanstalk (until the end of time) to our best four legged friend Lu! @big.lu.the.great.dane was a superstar in our drive thru line on her daily walks with her dad. While he has come over 844 times since May of 2020, we are confident that Lu walked our drive thru at least 800 of those times for her iconic “Half Pup Cup for Lu”. If you ever got confused on why there was a horse getting coffee, it was most likely LuLu getting her daily steps and pup cup. 🐾 🪽While we are so very sad that we won’t ever get to see you on your walks again, we are happy that you are now pain free getting to eat FULL pup cups and looking out for all those squirrels. 🌱🫶One week ago we served our last pup cup (until she comes back to visit) to our dearest four legged friend @big.lu.the.great.dane ! 😭 🐾 Not a single day went by without Lu gracing us with her patience, grace and striking presence in the drive thru line. Cold temps would not keep her away….it just meant she had to wear her horse jacket and scarf while urging Derek along. She would sometimes be accompanied by any random pup that had lost its way…they knew she was safe. 🐶 ☕️ In just the last year alone, Lu has had 192 “Half Pup Cups For Lu”. We will keep her special button on our register in case any other pups have a sensitive tummy or for when she visits. 🥰 Big Lu, Thank you for giving our crew something to absolutely look forward to (& fight over who served you your pup cup) every day for these 3 years. 🌱Last Friday we said “see ya later” to THE original Coffee Queen @mackenzielynnandrews 🥲 Kenzie helped open Beanstalk in 2020 and has been an integral part in bringing the magic. We have been so lucky to get 3 years with this amazing woman. She is the originator of the Golden Goose Latte (yeah, big time, right?!?), the fastest barista in the history of barista-ing, and just one of our favorite humans. What started as a summer job developed into us getting to see her graduate high school, do lots of life and then marry her husband Brandon last year. It feels like we have watched her grow up and we could not be prouder or happier for her and her family. 🥳 Kenzie Lynn, you have helped me turn a coffee shop into a home for many people and for that I can never thank you enough.
